Finding and soaring in thermals is a new experience for me.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve read the books (&#8220;Joy of Soaring&#8221;) , devoured the &#8220;Soaring&#8221; journal (back as an undergrad), and even tried to simulate a sailplane with a Cessna (lousy idea).
